My favorite version is the "Oingo Boingo Out of Control (Funky Vocal Mix)" or (Funky Voice Dub) that was released in only on LP (Vinyl Record). I digitized it and put it on my iPod. You can now find a copy uploaded to YouTube by searching for the title as listed above.

Danny Elfman, lead singer of Oingo Boingo, knows how to make great music. With his penetrating charisma he can pull many a song through in his own wacky direction and style, making it equally dark and fun. Dark at the End of the Tunnel seems misguided, as though Elfman has lost sense of the music he is "meant" to make, or maybe he had been dabbling in too many musical scores at the time to.

Oingo Boingo's Dark At The End Of The Tunnel is very different from their previous works; you won't find what made them great here. Dark At The End Of The Tunnel is much more relaxed than the albums that came before it. While those pump you up and get you dancing, this album is more of something to chill out to. One disappointing feature of this more tame vibe is a more tame vocal performance.
